First pair of riding jeans May 7, 2026 Reviewer: Ingrid Krause from Middleton, WI United States   Being new to Western riding I was in the market for a new pair of riding jeans. These , being advertised as seamless really fit the bill. Took all measurements and ordered. The company suggested to try 2 different sizes to try ( part of their colt-Program), the second one with free return shipping!   My suggestion: go with it!  Desiree , the owner knows her "stuff" . Love the Jeans & the Process May 4, 2025 Reviewer: Carmen from Treasure Island, FL United States   I buy a lot of online products but generally stick to a very small number of clothing vendors due to the hassle of getting the right size.  Smooth Stride has made ordering jeans quick & easy with their Colt process.  One pair of the jeans I picked fit very well & the other went back into the bag with prepared label to return.  The jeans were excellent quality.  The long inseams are great for ladies with long legs!  Thanks Smooth Stride! They live up to their name - smoothstride May 4, 2025 Reviewer: Heidi from East Hampton, CT United States   I found SmoothStride Jeans on Julie Goodnight’s website.  Although I ride English instead of Western I was intrigued by the offer to try two pairs, decide which one fits best, return the other. I like the stretch, the phone pocket on the leg, and no inseam inside the leg, especially riding bareback.  As a 60 y/o female it’s not always easy to find riding pants that fit well.  In fact, I prefer riding tights so I don’t have to mess with zipper, snaps, or buttons.  If it weren’t for that I’d give these jeans a five-star rating.  However, the jeans themselves are very comfortable.  I would both recommend them and order them again. Now I'm Convinced May 4, 2025 Reviewer: Kathleen from Santa Cruz, CA United States   I wasn't exactly thrilled with the fit right away...I'm short waisted and they ride a little high for me...but I thought I should try them again since they are a little pricey for jeans. So I took them to Montana where I spent two weeks in horsemanship classes all day.   I'm sold!  The only thing I would change (remove) is the pocket on the thigh. I wear chinks or shotgun chaps when I ride which renders that pocket utterly useless. Was this review helpful to you?

Design suggestion May 4, 2025 Reviewer: Susan from MORONGO VALLEY, CA United States   I absolutely love the fit and feel of these jeans. I have just ordered my second pair. If I could change anything (and I have heard this from other customers as well) I would add more flair to the boot end. It is a little to "stove pipey" which does not allow proper stacking and the jean gets hung up on the boot shaft. Was this review helpful to you?

5+ years old and still look and fit awesome! May 4, 2025 Reviewer: Janis from Roy, WA United States   I have a pair of the real riding jeans that are at least 5 years old.
