Smooth Stride riding wear was created by Marianne Morrison and her two horses Traveler and Chance.
Morrison lives and rides in Boise, Idaho's rambling foothills. Boise has a mild climate, so outdoor riding is an option throughout the year.
Morrison sweltered in the summer and froze in the winter. She started wearing an old pair of polyester pants and was surprised at the comfort, so after much consideration and experimentation Smooth Stride's first line of riding pants is being introduced.
